fitness trainers. Our team of ELITE personal trainers in
Tucson AZ are specially chosen to represent the best trainers
in the industry. To be a SWAT Personal Trainer, trainers
must be at the top of their fields. Because we choose only
the very best trainers, our SWAT Personal Training Team is
extraordinarily experienced, and highly qualified Certified
Personal Fitness Professionals, with expertise in various
aspects of physical fitness, personal training, wellness,
weight loss, physiological principles, kinesiology, core
balance and health.
Lynn
Lynn is a Certified Personal Trainer
in Tucson. Certified by both ISSA and Cooper’s Institute
of Aerobic Research, Lynn specializes in One on One Personal
Training, Group Fitness Training, Nutrition and Weight Loss
, and Bodybuilding (competitive). With her personal experience
in competitive bodybuilding (1st Place in her Division at
Ultra Southwest) and weight training, Lynn provides her personal
training and fitness clients with education, knowledge, and
effective weight training programs to build muscle, lose
weight, and live a healthier, happier lifestyle.
Mikhail
Mikhail is a
Tucson Personal Trainer, Nationally Certified, with expertise
in bodybuilding, fitness training, and sports specific training.
She enjoys working with all kinds of clients, from beginners
to advanced. She believes that mental preparation and motivation
are key factors of success in meeting fitness goals. She
has experience in Competitive BodyBuilding.
Jayson
Jayson is a Certified
Personal Trainer and Coach who specializes in strength and
conditioning for athletes, as well as training special populations.
Jayson works with a variety of clients of all ages and abilities,
including people with Parkinsonian symptoms, fibromyalgia,
post-gastric bypass patients, and those with other unique
training needs. He is also a well respected trainer of bodybuilders
and successful young athletes. Jayson is known for his creativity,
patience, and ability to get great results from clients of
all backgrounds.
Shauna
Shauna is Certified
Personal Trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine.
She is a Certified Fitness Professional by Pima Community
College, and is trained in Kettlebell Training. She has experience
in program design, senior training, post-rehabilitation,
cardiac rehabilitation, weight loss, and post-natal training.
Shauna is very creative with her workouts, and strives to
provide her clients with a balanced program that incorporates
posture, balance, flexibility, strength, and aerobic training
in a way that is customized to help them meet their goals.
Trey
Trey is an ISSA
Certified Fitness Instructor, and former physical training
NCO with the US ARMY. In his former and current professions,
Trey demonstrates a true understanding about the importance
of being fit. His patience and passion for fitness motivates
his clients, and keeps them excited about achieving their
fitness goals. Trey has experience working with people of
all fitness levels and abilities, and has particular expertise
working with athletes, Seniors and clients with Special Needs.
He is a Kombat Kettlebell instuctor, and is a popular and
valued Boot Camp Instructor for SWAT’s Boot Camp program.
Trey has a great personality, sense of humor, and ability
to motivate and inspire others.
Bryan
(with a “Y”)
Bryan is Certified by ACE, and has also completed a second
Advanced Certification from NSCA. Bryan is a very encouraging,
high-energy trainer, who truly believes in each and every
client. He is encouraging, professional, level-headed, and
really gives 100% to each client, every session. His experience
belies his years. Bryan energizes ad motivates his clients
to give back 100% effort, every time. Bryan works with clients
of all fitness levels: from multiple cardiovascular Disease
Risks, to high-level performance athletes. Bryan says, “I
love helping people attain their goals—as if they are my
own.” Bryan has recently received his Kettlebell Trainer
status.
Lauren
Lauren is a Certified
Personal Trainer with SWAT, with experience in various aspects
of fitness, personal training, and exercise and sports sciences.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree, and a specialized degree in
Personal Fitness Training. Lauren’s easygoing personality
and professional demeanor make her a SWAT favorite. Lauren
is a talented Small Group Personal Training Instructor, and
an accomplished photographer as well. Lauren’s approach emphasizes
functional movement training, and increased mobility, strength
and balance. Her clients describe her as patient and kind, although she challenges them and encourages them along the way.
Mike
CPT - Mike is
the SWAT Adventure Boot Camp Instructor in Sahuarita, AZ.
Mike has been involved in health and fitness since he got
his first weight set at the age of 12. He has competed in
football, track and field, basketball, soccer, racquetball,
baseball and swimming. Over the years Michael has trained
for all of these sports and is able to pass on to his clients
his own experiences on how to get a healthy and strong body.
Michael received his BA in Health Sciences at the University
of Arizona.
Morgan
Morgan is a graduate
of the University of Arizona with a Bachelors’ Degree in
Physiology, and is also a Certified Personal Trainer, with
Certifications through ACE in both Personal Training and
Group Training. She started out as a group fitness instructor
teaching kickboxing, bootcamp and muscle toning classes.
Teaching exposed her to the world of fitness where she wanted
to reach people on an individual level. Personal training
has allowed her to do what she loves: helping others attain
their fitness and wellness goals. When not training clients,
Morgan enjoys home improvement projects and spending time
with her dog and her future husband.
Rob
Rob is an NSCA Certified Personal Trainer,
with several years of experience training a wide range of clients . His personal experience with bodybuilding make him a great resource for athletes. Rob writes, "Since becoming a personal trainer 3 years ago, I have worked with a number of clients, each with different physical limitations and varying degrees of physical fitness expectations. Personally understanding how physical limitations can impact one’s life has improved upon my ability to work with others and empathize with such limitations. It has enabled me to produce fitness programs meeting the unique needs of unique individuals.
David
David Cohn, PhD, comes to SWAT after gaining his Russian Kettlebell Challenge (RKC) Certification. His interest in Kettlebells developed while trying to prevent having surgery to repair chronic shoulder ailments. The kettlebell training succeeded and also provided David the ability to train to a new level of athleticism and conditioning for himself and his clients. David’s previous experience includes participating and training of competitive collegiate athletes, and supervision of USMC, and USAF Special Operations physical conditioning programs. He holds a BS from the University of Kansas; MA and PhD degrees from the University of Arizona.

Jaime
As an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer, Jaime has a passion for helping clients reach their individual goals. She understands the obstacles people face in their daily lives and is dedicated to providing the tools and motivation necessary to overcome them. Whether you wish to lose weight, tone up, or increase flexibility, Jaime is sure to provide you with a fun and challenging workout plan, and her enthusiasm and sensitivity make her a perfect fit for people of all fitness levels.

Darrell
Darrell is an accomplished athlete, power lifter and Certified Personal Trainer. Darrell has years of experience in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, and brings his knowledge and expertise to each and every client. Darrell has had great success with clients who wish to lose weight, who struggle with obesity, or who are just getting started on a fitness program. He is creative and encouraging, and has a great ability to positively influence those around him. Darrell is the Lead Trainer for our SWAT fitness boot camp in Vail at Rita Ranch.
Kara
Kara is an AFPA certified personal trainer, specializing in strength training and conditioning. Kara has a strong dance background, having studied ballet, jazz and lyrical dance extensively. She began as a Personal Trainer in Los Angeles and San Diego, where she was also a model with M International, prior to moving back to Tucson. Kara strives to improveall aspects of her clients ' fitness, including posture, flexibility, coordination, and agility. Kara says, "Fitness has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I like nothing more than to inspire that same passion for fitness in the hearts of my clients by giving them the tools and knowledge to achieve the results they desire."
